CALL 911
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
You’ll be connected to a counselor in the Spanish-language, LGBTQI+ services, or the local 988 Lifeline contact center. For veterans, the phone will ring until a counselor can answer the call. Counselors will listen, provide support, and help with recourses. Services are 24/7. Try another contact method if one is not going through.
Trevor Project Get Help Contacts
You’ll be connected to a Trevor counselor who is understanding of LGBTQ issues and won’t judge you. All of your messages are anonymous, and you can share as much or as
little as you like.
If you end up waiting, try a calming exercise to help you breathe and focus. Or check out the LGBTQ Resource Center for helpful articles and information.
Trans Lifeline Hotline
Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people. When you call, you will be connected to a trans/nonbinary operator, and you can call even if you’re not in a crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans. All of your messages are anonymous, and there is no nonconsensual active rescue (i.e. they will not call 911 for you if you do not give permission).
Operating hours are Monday through Friday:
When volumes are high, it may take longer to get connected. Please try calling or texting again.
