Chapter in a Book - Format & Examples

Use this format to cite a chapter or article in a book. An editor's name may or may not be available; if there is one, include it where noted in the General Format examples.

APA (6th) General Format Chapter Author Last Name, Chapter Author Initials (Year). Chapter title. In Editor Initials Editor Last Name (Ed.), Title of Book (first page-last page). Place of publication: Publisher.
